Giving a miss to the likes of Sarvana Bhavans, Andhra Bhavans, Sagar Ratnas, Naivedyams and others (in no way I am saying they aren’t good), I tasted some amazing South Indian stuff at these three joints in South Delhi. Though, I tasted selected items only, based on recommendations from my friends. But I am sure, the other items served by them are equally good. The purpose of this short story is to introduce you to these outlets.
Suddenly, you see a waiter balancing almost 10-12 plates of Dosa along the length of his arm. Before you realise, he would quickly distribute it to the guests. In quick succession, another waiter would come with a pan full of Coconut Chutney. With a slight tilt of the pan over your plate, a good amount of Chutney is poured on the side.
People are talking about this. It was splashed all over the Internet last week. It was on a news channel early this week. Its video is trending over foodie channels. And this week, around 30 food enthusiasts landed there and waited eagerly for the Chief Guest of the evening to arrive. And after a wait the Chief Guest arrived…..The United India Thali !!
