My short trip to Goa last month saw me not bothering much for the beach shacks food or the restaurant food. Instead, I tried to focus on what was available on the streets.
I was suggested Naga Kitchen for lunch in Guwahati but with a warning that I might find the food a bit bland. On the contrary, I was in for a pleasant surprise and a very flavourful experience.
The staff took me to a counter set up in the coffee shop which said “Assamese Jolpan” with a few dishes mentioned below it. The contents on the counter looked quite simple and a homely lady was standing behind it.
